The last PACTESUR2 police academy was held in Turin from 3 to 5 June 2025 and welcomed 130 participants from 30 European cities and institutions.

Participants were trained by experts on topics such as conflict de-escalation techniques, arresting a suspect or intervening using a body camera. The thematic workshops focused on managing major events, urban night-time safety, hate crimes, gender-based violence, sport and safety in the city, preventing juvenile delinquency, and relations with minority communities.

Several sessions were devoted to new technologies and artificial intelligence from legal, ethical, strategic and technical perspectives. Demonstrations of various experimental uses of artificial intelligence for law enforcement provided an insight into the tools of the future.
