From the 11th to the 15th of July, the police of Liège welcomed 5 PACTESUR2 delegations to present them their way of securing the big Festival Les Ardentes. This international music festival welcomes more than 220.000 participants on 4 days in Liège.
The delegations were welcomed at the RFCL command post for the presentation of the Belgian principle of Negotiated Management of Public Space, the timeline for the preparation of the Festival and the ops light briefing. They had the opportunity to visit the integrated command post and all the tools displayed to secure this mass event.
During the festival, they observed the security from different perspectives: on site, from the festival command post, on the camp site, in the safe zone…
They also had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Walloon Life.
